People say when you are pregnant you glow is that true?

People i work with say i am glowing and that i have changed a little


yet my boyfriend does not notice.

because you carry more blood when you r pregnant, about 3 pints more ready for when you give birth/ blood loss.... you glow becuse the blood makes you look like your blushing a little bit!

Your boyfriend sees you more often than your coworkers so he doesn't notice those settle changes. The hormones tend to clear your skin which is what I think gives a glow.

from where i come from the old people used to say that if ur glowing while ur pregnant that means the baby is as a boy and if its a girl u will look pale. reason is the boy will take after the father's gene more while daughters tend to take after the mother's beauty that's y she will look pale. but no matter what there's always a case of which a mother glows and in the end having a daughter instead of a son. either way all experience as a mother is very special. best of luck

I find that glow is just the person being happier.
Because you have put weight on your face it plumps it out and makes it look radiant as oposed to a wrinkly skinny face that looks larthargic.
They don't. Your too tired for the first trimester and quite possibly to sick at the smell of food, cleaners, etc to *glow*.





energy returns around the fourth month but by the sixth your getting uncomfortable and having to sleep on your left side all the time and there is this person kicking the s*** out of you at night.





The last trimester is nothing but trying to find something that looks decent, eating all the time, swelling up in places you didn't before, and falling asleep at the drop of a hat.





There is no time for *glowing*.
Some women do get this glow, others don't, some people notice and men will they don't, in fact they do not really notice much, unless you have four wheels, and a long seek body...........

It affects the blood flow to the skin. Maybe it is also partly psychological ie you are happier so ';radiate'; health and happiness

Personally i think it`s an old wives tale. They are probably just being polite and think it rude to say ';my god.... your sweating like a pig!';. Of course you are! your carrying a bowling ball round with you 24/7......so would they!





It could also mean you look healthy.....which is a good thing.
