Is it really true that there is plants that glows in the dark?

can you site some examples of plants that glows in the dark.Is it really true that there is plants that glows in the dark?
Yes there are glow in the dark plants. Scientists have transformed a number of plants with the luciferase gene, the same gene that produces the chemical fire flies use to glow. That being said the level of light produced is typically very low.Is it really true that there is plants that glows in the dark?
i think phytoplancton (microscopic plants in the sea) are known to glow at night at certain periods of the year.
I don't know of any naturaly occuring glowing plants, but it would be easy enough to stick a phosphoresence gene it the plant species of your choice and make one.
